In October 2005 CTS began implementing a new secure wireless network for students and employees. This network is now available to all students and employees with wireless capabilities.
This project began with wireless in the green spaces (the outdoor grassy areas) outside of the LLC's and when complete, will cover the entire University**.
** Currently there is no plan to make the LLC's wireless due to the building's structure though there may be limited access due some bleed from outside access points.
Locations for DuqNet wireless access
Currently DuqNet wireless is available in several locations across campus (see the map below). Please check back regularly for updates.
Does your computer meet the requirements for DuqNet wireless
All new Duquesne owned laptops are configured for DuqNet wireless, but not the old SkyNet wireless.
If you have an older Duquesne owned laptop with a wireless card, please contact the CTS Help Desk for information on connecting to DuqNet.
