GPO Federal Digital System

 www.fdsys.gov

GPO Federal Digital System features an updated interface, and is a service of the U.S. Government Printing Office. It provides free, electronic access, to a vast array of important information products published by the Federal Government, including Congressional Bills, Senate and House Committee Reports and Public Laws. The information provided on this site is the official published version, and the information retrieved from GPO can be used without restriction, unless specifically noted. This free service is funded by the Federal Depository Library Program. The site allows the user to search for U.S. government publications in a variety of ways. The user can browse alphabetical lists of government publications, perform an advance search across multiple databases, or browse resources by topic. The list of featured publications on the homepage includes complete titles which migrated from the old version of the GPO site (www.gpoaccess.gov), like The Code of Federal Regulations, The Federal Register, and more. Additionally, GPO offers "e-CFR", a regularly updated, unofficial version of the Code of Federal Regulations, and is usually updated to within the past two days. Visitors will find GPO Federal Digital System is an indispensible resource for anyone conducting federal legal research.
