The United Nations web site is indispensable for anyone interested in International law. Choose the English version of “Welcome” to enter the site. It is divided into five main categories: Peace & Security, Development, Human Rights, and Humanitarian Affairs, and International Law. The link to the UN Security Council is located near the center of the homepage and provides UN Resolutions in order by year. For example, you can choose 2012 to access a list of resolutions in PDF format from that year. If you select “S/RES/2041 (2012)” from the list, you’ll find an UN Resolution on the situation in Afghanistan. The Security Council page offers a Web Cast option, broadcasting daily press briefings, meetings of the General Assembly, addresses by dignitaries, and other UNTV programming. Visit un.org to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the international community.
