Lunch & Learn with Professor Mark D. Yochum
(1-hour ethics CLE)
"All Oaths, I Swear!" This one-hour Continuing Legal Education course will explore positional conflicts and pitfalls of issue advocacy. May a lawyer argue legal position X for one client and, in an unrelated matter, argue legal position not-X? We will consider the force and effect of the oaths we take, what it means to act pro-bono publico, and the problematic maxim, salus populi suprema lex.
Cost
CLE and Lunch: $60 ($20 for DLAA members)
To register, please contact Kathy Koehler at koehler@duq.edu OR call 412-396-6282.
