Lunch & Learn with Professor Mark D. Yochum
(1-hour ethics CLE)
"All Oaths, I Swear!" This one-hour Continuing Legal Education course will explore positional conflicts and pitfalls of issue advocacy. May a lawyer argue legal position X for one client and, in an unrelated matter, argue legal position not-X? We will consider the force and effect of the oaths we take, what it means to act pro-bono publico, and the problematic maxim, salus populi suprema lex.
CLE and Lunch: $60 ($20 for DLAA members)
To register, please contact Kathy Koehler at firstname.lastname@example.org OR call 412-396-6282.
This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for zero (0) hours of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credits and one (1) hour of ethics, professionalism or substance abuse CLE credit.
