There are three sources online to update case law: United States Law Week (BNA), the U. S. Supreme Court Web Site, and the Oyez Web Site. Please visit the Updating US Case Law presentation link to learn more about this important legal research skill.

Westlaw Research Tips

To find new databases added to Westlaw on a daily basis, type "new" where it says "search for a database". You will find a chronological listing of databases added daily. There are also some new features appearing on Westlaw. SURVEYS: The 50 States has vastly improved the speed and efficiency of the multi-jurisdictional research. ALRINDEX was released on August 27 and covers the second through sixth series, as well as the ALR federal first and second series.
