Dean Gormley's recent article, “The law school numbers game” appeared in the September 16 edition of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The article appeared on page B-7 of the hardcopy version, and is an excellent read for anyone interested in law school, including students, faculty, and various legal professionals.
1L Practice Exam Schedule Information from the Registrar
A practice exam will be administered to all First-Year students the week of October 10, 2011. The evening division will take the practice exam on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 6:00pm. The day division will take the practice exam on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 1:00pm. Each student will receive their assigned course for testing on Monday, September 26, 2011 via their mailboxes. Laptop sage will not be permitted during the practice exams.

BC Lab Blog
Boston College Lab Blog is an especially relevant site for clinical students, and all law students interested in gaining practical experience. It is hosted by Anusia Hirsch, a 2L at BC Law School. This is the first time a law student worked for a law school clinic and hosted a blog discussing clients. There was much discussion concerning ethical issues regarding clients. The author published the blog with the approval of the school and clients. Posts include “A Tailored Approach to Initial Client Meetings”, “Testing New Waters: BC LAB Blog Details a Client Experience”, and “Is Sharing OK in a Legal Environment?”.
