BNA Online Subscription Databases
Duquesne University students and faculty have access to the Bureau of National Affairs' (BNA) collection of online, subscription-based, legal research databases.
BNA Online - Individual Title Access
A list of BNA Online titles is available through SOLCAT, the School of Law Catalog: http://library.law.duq.edu/. Select "TITLE" from the drop-down menu and enter "BNA Online" into the search engine. Press RETURN or Click "Go". To access on-campus, select any of the resulting 759 titles in the list and click on the accompanying URL. No authentication is necessary. Use the following login information to access BNA resources off-campus:

The Center also posts Duquesne University School of Law news for your perusal. The DCLI Current News area keeps you posted with recent legal headlines and School of Law news.
View Your Patron Record
SOLCAT , The School of Law Catalog includes a "View your Patron Record" link. This function allows the user to renew books, check due dates, and save searches. Click on the "View Your Patron Record" link. The system will ask you for your name, for example, Jane Doe. It will also ask for your Duquesne ID Number.

Pennsylvania Legal Research Web Sites
Created and maintained by Dittakavi Rao, Associate Director of DCLI, this site combines the various Pennsylvania legal web sites that are available on the Internet under different subject headings. Mr. Rao's web site is the most comprehensive collection of online PA legal resources in one easy to access location. Users will find links on the left of the home page are comprised of research guides regarding case law reporters, digests, administrative law, and other important research materials. "Quick links" provide easy user navigation. They are located at the top of the home page, and are a particular highlight of this site.The quick links provide access to such resources as the General Assembly, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and numerous other PA related legal sites. The Governor's Executive Orders are listed, as well, offering the most current versions of the orders in PDF format. The PA Case Law blog is "Updated Daily, cases released from the Pennsylvania Superior Court, archived by judge and topic." The site also offers a list of additional updated "Blawgs" such as the PA Elder, Estate & Fiduciary blog.
