General Undergraduate Scholarships
The following application may be used for: Alumni Association, Donald W. Weber, Glen Beeson, Lucile Gebhardt and Monteverde Scholarships.
Alumni Association Scholarship
Based on need and academics (3.0 QPA). Available to sophomore and junior business students.
Awarded annually to the graduating senior who best exemplifies the qualities of intellect, character, and business acumen necessary for success in today's global economy.
Available to qualifying sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with a QPA of 3.50 or higher are eligible to apply.
Based on need and academics (3.5 QPA). Available to freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior business students.
Awarded to business students of documented merit. Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with a QPA of 3.50 or higher are eligible to apply.
Available to qualifying sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with a QPA of 3.50 or higher are eligible to apply.
Based on need and academics (3.0 QPA). Current qualifying sophomore and junior ISM majors are eligible to apply. Download Application.
Thomas D. Bartolec Scholarship
Based on service and academics (3.25 QPA). Available to sophomore and junior business students. Final determination based on interview and essay. Download Application.
Accounting Awards & Scholarships
As an Accounting student at Duquesne University's A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration or a Masters of Accountancy student in the Donahue School of Business, there are several awards and scholarships that may be available to you. The accounting faculty strongly encourages you to apply for as many of these awards and scholarships as you are qualified.
Distinguished Accounting Scholar
Awarded annually to a qualified accounting student who demonstrates a 3.8 overall QPA, 3.9 accounting QPA and leadership activities. Juniors are eligible to apply. This award is renewable in the student’s senior year so long as they maintain their eligibility requirements.
Awarded annually to qualified accounting students who demonstrate a 3.5 overall QPA, DU and community contribution and employment history. Juniors and seniors are eligible to apply.
Accounting Alumni Scholarships
Awarded annually to qualified accounting students who demonstrate a 3.0 overall QPA, unmet financial need, DU and community contribution, and employment history. Juniors and seniors are eligible to apply.
Edward Milcic Memorial Scholarship
Awarded annually to a qualified accounting student who demonstrates a 2.75 overall QPA, financial need as determined by Office of Financial Aid, DU and community contribution, and employment history. Sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to apply.
Consol Energy Academic Excellence Award
Awarded annually to two qualified accounting students who demonstrate a 3.4 overall QPA and community service. Juniors and seniors are eligible to apply.
Consol Energy "Fuel Your Future" Awards
Awarded annually to two qualified accounting students who demonstrate a 3.4 overall QPA and DU and community contribution. Sophomores are eligible to apply.
Accounting Advisory Board Senior Merit Award
Awarded annually to a qualified accounting student who demonstrates a cumulative QPA of 3.5 or higher in accounting courses, fall semester overall QPA of 3.5 or higher and leadership and community service. Seniors are eligible to apply.
Outstanding Accounting Student Achievement Award
Awarded annually to two qualified accounting students who demonstrate a 3.5 overall QPA and professional or community service. Sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to apply.
KPMG/Joseph T. Senko Endowed Scholarship
Awarded annually to qualified accounting students who demonstrate an unmet financial need or are of Slovak descent. Freshmen, sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply.
John L. McDonough Jr. Endowed Scholarship
Awarded annually to six qualified accounting students who demonstrate a 3.25 overall QPA and unmet financial need. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to apply. This award is renewable in the student’s senior year so long as they maintain their eligibility requirements.
Institute of Internal Auditors Outstanding Accounting Student Award
Awarded annually to a qualified accounting student who demonstrates a 3.5 overall QPA, professional or community service and leadership activities. Juniors, seniors and students in the MAcc program are eligible to apply.
Robert A. dePalma Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Awarded annually to three qualified accounting students who demonstrate a 2.75 to 3.25 overall QPA and unmet financial need. Juniors and seniors are eligible to apply.
James Louis Radakovich Endowed Scholarship
Awarded annually to two qualified accounting students who demonstrate a 2.5 overall QPA, unmet financial need, DU and community contribution and employment history. Sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply.
CPAexcel Outstanding Accounting Student Award
Awarded annually to a qualified accounting student who deomonstrates a 3.5 overall QPA, professional or community service and leadership activities. Seniors and students in the MAcc program are eligible to apply.
