Spanish for Health Care Professionals - Spring Semester 2013

  • This course will focus on teaching students to communicate with Spanish speaking patients they may encounter in everyday situations at hospitals, emergency rooms, doctors' offices, clinics and pharmacies.
  • Emphasis on medical vocabulary, pronounciation, listening and conversation
  • Examine cultural differences and nuances which impact health care
  • This course DOES NOT COUNT towards the language requirement
