Spiritan Division

Academic Calendar for the Division

  • The Summer Semester, a mandatory five-week academic experience for new Division students, starts the last weekend of June and ends the last Friday of July.     
  • The Academic year begins in late August when all Duquesne students return to campus to begin classes.

The Division Curriculum

The Spiritan Division student who has completed the Division curriculum may apply for admission to the College or University school offering the student's intended major.

Spiritan Division Reception

receptionThis is a mandatory event for Division freshmen and other Division-enrolled students.

All students should plan to attend this special evening in mid-February on a Thursday or Friday evening. It begins with mass in the University chapel and continues with dinner and a program in the ballroom.

Division students are recognized at this special event.
