Living on Campus, Off-Campus, at Home?
Whether you are here all day, all night, or just drop in for a few hours, we hope Duquesne will soon feel like home.
Room Assignments for New Students
When you receive your acceptance to Duquesne from the Office of Admissions, you confirm your attendance with your deposit.
Deposited students entering in a fall semester will receive housing preference forms starting in March. These will ask you your preferences about living situations and gather requests for specific individuals as roommates.
New students receive their room assignments and their roommates' contact information by email from the Office of Residence Life in early July.
For students entering in a spring semester, the process begins in November and room and roommate assignments are sent out on a rolling basis.
Commuter Students
Commuter Affairs can assist you with transportation, off-campus housing and other services to make your experience as a commuter student academically and socially rewarding.
Don't forget to get a bus pass or register for a parking permit.
