Social Studies Education Program Receives National Recognition

The National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) has received notification from the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) review and has distinguished the Social Studies Education Program of Duquesne University’s School of Education with national recognition for two years (through August 2013). Congratulations to the Social Studies Education Program and Dr. Jason Ritter & Clark Remington for their leadership in developing the Social Studies Education report and achieving this national recognition of excellence.
