America and the Road to War, 1914-1917
- Power Center Ballroom
The Department of History will host its 51st annual History Forum America and the Road to War, 1914-1917, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the United States' entry into the First World War. Pittsburgh native and critically acclaimed author Dr. Michael Neiberg, Stimson chair of the Department of National Security and Strategy at the U.S. Army War College, will trace the long and torturous path to American involvement, showing how the public debates over this "War to End All Wars" centered on issues such as morality, economics and the very nature of American identity.
