Enhancing Courtroom Knowledge of Forensic Technology
As forensic practitioners and scientists continue to develop new methodologies and technologies to assist in solving crimes and supporting both prosecutions and defenses, it is important for the criminal justice community at large to keep pace with these innovations. This seminar will focus on introducing or enhancing the legal community's understanding of such disciplines as forensic chemistry and DNA analysis, as well as how such technologies need to be supported to meet the Frye or Daubert standards of admissibility. Speakers for this seminar will be announced at a later date.
