Continuing Education Offerings
The Wecht Institute is committed to obtaining CLE and other professional education credit for any and all relevant registrant groups. Please continue to check this page for any updates. Once Continuing Education is confirmed for a certain seminar, it will be listed as confirmed under that category.
We are working to offer the following Continuing Education for the following seminars.
CLE:
As an approved CLE provider, the Wecht Institute will be offering 3 hours of Continuing Legal Education for each of the half day seminars and 6 hours of Continuing CLE education for the full day seminars (January and May). Please check back for more detailed information.
January 20th - This seminar has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for five (5) substantive and one (1) ethics credit.
February 10th - This seminar has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal education Board for three (3) substantive credits.
March 16th - This seminar has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for three (3) substantive credits.
April 20th - This seminar has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for three (3) substantive credits.
May 18th - This seminar has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for five (5) hours of Substantive credit and one (1) hour of Ethics credit.
ACT 48:
The Wecht Institute intends to offer 3 hours of ACT 48 credits for each of the half-day seminars. The Institute will also be offering 6 hours of ACT 48 credits for each of the full day seminars. Teachers wishing to receive ACT 48 credits should register under the Continuing Education section.
Continuing Nursing Education:
The Wecht Institute, in partnership with the Duquesne University School of Nursing is offering Continuing Nursing Education for the April and May seminars.
Coroners Education:
The Wecht Institute is pleased to announce that the May 18th Shaken Baby Syndrome seminar has been approved for six hours of continuing education for Pennyslvania coroners. All coroners should register at the Teachers rate.
