Freshman Weekend Programs

Below are a list of dates and events included in the Freshman Weekend Program Series for Fall 2011. Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Office of Freshman Development at 412.396.6657 or online by clicking here.

August/September 2011
Sunday,
August 28		 Just Ducky Tours of Pittsburgh. See the city from both land and the rivers in a unique amphibious vehicle.
Walking tour to the Station Square Ducky Tours
office starts at 12:30 p.m.
Cost: $19.00.

Sunday,
September 4

 Trip to Kennywood Amusement Park: “The best International Traditional Amusement Park…”
Free transportation provided.
Buses leave at 12:30 p.m. and return either at 5:15 p.m. or 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $20.00 for all-day ride ticket.
Saturday,
September 10

Tickets to Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Florida Marlins. Zambelli Fireworks Night.  (Tickets limited, first come, first serve.)

Trip to Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium.
Free transportation provided. Bus leaves at 1:30 p.m. and returns at 5:00 p.m.

Free transportation. Buses leave at 6:30 P.M. and return at midnight.

October 29		 Tickets to Pittsburgh Ballet, "Peter Pan," with Orchestra.

November 2011

Trip to Carnegie Science Center. Includes IMAX and Planetarium.
Bus leaves at 12:30 p.m. and returns at 5:30 p.m.
