Specializing in the history of early modern France, Dr. Parsons joined the Department in 2003. He has taught at the University of Delaware and Roosevelt University. Dr. Parsons has published articles in the foremost journals in his field, and his book, The Church and the Republic: Gallicanism and Political Ideology in Renaissance France, was published by Catholic University Press.
