 Department of Instruction and Leadership in Education
The School of Education at Duquesne University invites applications and nominations for a position at the Associate/Full Professor tenure track level.  The successful applicant will also serve as the Chair of the Department of Instruction and Leadership in Education.  Applicants should have a Doctorate in English Language Arts, Literacy, or a closely related field with specializations in the middle and/or early years, cultural and linguistic diversity, and teacher education.  We are seeking candidates with either prior successful experience as a department chair or experience in a university setting that documents potential for success as a chair. Our collegial and dynamic department currently has 18 research-active faculty, 402 graduate students, and over 360 undergraduate students.  Faculty research interests cover the breadth of the educational field focusing on curriculum, instruction, technology, and leadership in teaching and teacher education.  The Department offers the Ed.D., M.S., B.S. degrees and teaching certifications.  To learn more about this faculty appointment -  /id0910344b80596f96
