DEAN - SCHOOL OF NURSING

Duquesne University invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of the School of Nursing. The Dean is the chief academic and administrative officer of the School and reports to the Provost. The Dean ensures the academic integrity of all educational programs; encourages excellence in teaching; fosters and supports research; and oversees the fiscal wellbeing of the School.

The School of Nursing is seeking an experienced academic nurse administrator with demonstrated leadership in teaching, research and service to provide visionary academic leadership and sustain and further enhance faculty research agendas and scholarly endeavors. The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in nursing or in a related field and will have a record of teaching, scholarship and service that would merit appointment at the rank of Professor with tenure.
