BUSINESS, COMPUTER, AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

(BCIT)

 

Duquesne University offers the opportunity to acquire the license to teach Business, Computer, and Information Technology subjects in grades K-12.  The BCIT Program is offered as an undergraduate (B.S. Ed.) and graduate (M.S.Ed.) degree, as well as an additional license for current teachers.

For those studens enrolling in the BCIT Program in the Spring 2012 semester, a 25% discount is being offiered.  Please visit the Graduate Studies at Duquesne website for additional information.

  • The program, a joint effort between the School of Education and the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business, is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

  • The program is appropriate for undergraduates who wish to acquire a Bachelor’s degree in four (4) years.

  • For education graduates who are already certified and who wish to acquire an additional certification.

  • For graduates of business schools who would like to acquire teaching certification (license).

  • Transfer students from other schools within Duquesne University and other colleges and universities may be accepted into the program after meeting admission requirements and pending a review of their academic records.
