Applying to a Graduate Program

What do I need to submit?

For graduate application material requirements, please refer to the appropriate Graduate Programs Web site for the specific process and documents that need to be submitted for admission.

Please note:

• Most graduate programs require you to submit a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score and a GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) or GRE (Graduate Records Examination) score. However, please check with your particular department for specific guidelines on these tests. Graduate schools do not generally provide conditional acceptances to any of their programs.

Important International Student Documents

As an international student, you will need to obtain a student visa if you are accepted to the university. Please read carefully the immigration information which outlines the process of obtaining a visa. We highly recommend that you send in the following financial documents to the graduate school with your application to accelerate the admissions process:

• Affidavit of Support Form and an official bank statement. The Affidavit of Support form is a legal document that a student’s sponsor must complete and have notarized and certified. The bank statement must be from the sponsor and show at least one full year of costs.
• Mandatory Information Sheet

Where should I submit my Graduate Application documents?

You should submit all of your application documents, including the Affidavit of Support and Mandatory Information Sheet, to the relevant graduate department.
