Where to Study in Gumberg Library
Quiet Study Zones
All areas of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors are designated for quiet study.
Individual Study Carrels
- 29 locked study carrels are located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th floors for student and faculty use.
- Carrels are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Keys may be checked out at the Circulation Desk for a four-hour (4) period, renewable if no other users are waiting.
- A sign-up list is available at the Circulation Desk to indicate waiting status.
Group Study Rooms
- 3 group study rooms are located on the 5th floor for student and faculty use.
- Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Can accommodate a minimum of 3 people and maximum of 7.
- Keys may be checked out at the Circulation Desk for a three-hour (3) period, and are not renewable.
Graduate Study Room
- Located on the 2nd floor, this room is available for individual and group use.
- For graduate students only!
- Keys may be checked out at the Circulation Desk for a four-hour (4) period, renewable if no other users are waiting.
