College students are at a unique and increased risk to catching serious illnesses, like the flu. Close contact through dorms, classrooms, public transportation, parties, and sports events make the flu particularly easy to spread. Flu is not the common cold. In fact, even healthy people can get the flu and it can be very serious, resulting in hospitalization or even death. Getting sick will cause you to miss class, social functions, and even work.
Please bring your medical and prescription insurance cards (most insurances accepted). If you do not have insurance, the cost of the vaccine is $30 which can be paid by check, credit card, or flexible spending accounts.
