As one the largest student organizations at Duquesne University, with the responsibility of governing more than 3,700 students living on campus, the Residence Hall Association requires detailed official documents to outline its powers, responsibilities, and general structure.
The RHA Constitution
The Constitution is the supreme law of the Residence Hall Association. It outlines the mandate of the organization, and also defines the duties and powers of the Executive Board and the Residence Hall Council Executives. All Executive Board members, Residence Hall Council Executives, and general members are to be familiar with this document in order to understand how the organization operates.

The Finance policy governs all matters related to the use of RHA funds collected through the Finance Committee. The Finance Policy defines the procedures for distribution of fees, budgeting, and restrictions on the use of funds by the Residence Hall Association. All members of the Executive Board, Residence Hall Council Executives, and general members are required to learn and abide by our Finance Policy.
