Upcoming Meetings
The GPSC meets monthly during the academic year. Food (pizza, tacos or hoagies) and beverages are provided for all meetings. Email reminders will be sent one week prior to each general meeting. You can check the GPSC Blackboard site or this page for upcoming meeting dates and times.

Academic Career Path Workshop
The Academic Career Path Workshop was held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 to discuss the process of being hired, tenure, and other concerns in the industry of the academic university.
Community Service Event
GPSC volunteers worked at the Habitat for Humanity Store in Edgewood on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Their duties included moving items, taking inventory, pricing and cleaning.
Penguins Themed Homecoming Raffle
The GPSC held a Penguins-themed homecoming raffle with the drawing held on October 1, 2011.
- 1st Prize: 2 tickets to the December 17th game against the Buffalo Sabres (Winner - Darlene Monlish)
- 2nd Prize: Throwback Lemieux jersey (Winner - Jane Cavanaugh)
- 3rd Prize: iPod Shuffle (Winner - Bryan Small)
Graduate and Professional Student Resource Fair
A first-ever Graduate and Professional Student Resource Fair was held on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 9 am to noon on the Mellon Hall patio. All students who pre-registered had the opportunity to win an iPod.
Health Service Seminar
The Health Service Seminar was held on Tuesday, April 12 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. to provide students with the various opportunities offered by Duquesne's Health Service that can help them save money!
