Weekend Excursion Details

Below are a list of dates and events included in the Freshman Weekend Program Series for Fall 2012. Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Office of Freshman Development at 412.396.6657 or click here for the form.

September 2012

Trip to Kennywood Amusement Park: "The Best International Traditional Amusement Park of the 20th Century."

Cost: $20 for all-day ride ticket
Free transportation provided. Buses leave at noon and return either at 6:00 p.m. or 9:00 p.m.

September 8

Tickets to Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Chicago Cubs at PNC Park.
Cost: $8 per ticket
Tickets for this event are limited, and are sold on a first come, first serve basis

Tickets to Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium
Cost $10
Bus leave at 1:00pm and returns at 5:00pm

Senator John Heinz:History Center
Cost: $5.00
12:00-2:00pm Self-Guided Tour

Tickets to Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Chicago Cubs at PNC Park Skyblast featuring Zambelli Fireworks and Lifehouse in Concert
Cost : $16 per ticket
Tickets for this event are limited, and are sold on a first come, first serve basis

October 2012

Tickets to ScareHouse
Cost: $17 per ticket
Buses leave at 6:30 p.m. and return at 9:30 p.m.

Freshman Trip to Phantom Fright Night, Kennywood Amusement Park.
 Cost: $22
Free Transportation. Bus leaves at 6:00 p.m. and returns at 12:00 midnight. 

November 2012

Tickets to STOMP at Heinz Hall
Cost: $25 per ticket
