Ann Therese Lambo & James Matson

Director and Assistant Director

Welcome to Duquesne! My name is Ann Therese Lambo, and I'll be your Director for Orientation 2017! I am a 4th year Speech-Language Pathology major and Special Education minor from Canton, Ohio, but I consider Pittsburgh my home. When I'm not having the time of my life planning Orientation, you can find me exploring the city for the best place to buy vintage clothes or the coolest new food destination (particularly Chinese food!), cheering on the Penguins at PPG Paints, or painting in my apartment. From the minute I stepped foot on Duquesne's campus, I knew I was destined to become a part of this wonderful community. In my time here at Duquesne, I've accomplished more than I ever thought I could, made friends that will last a lifetime, and truly found the place where I belong. I hope each and every one of you finds your home here like I did. There are so many opportunities here, and we as your Orientation staff want to be the first to show you all Duquesne has to offer and welcome you into our family. Take your passion and make it happen, and Duquesne will be behind you every step of the way. I can't wait to meet you! Bog on!

Hey everyone! My name is James Matson and I'll be your Assistant Director for this year's Orientation! I'm currently a junior Chemistry major here at Duquesne. With all the hills on campus, if you were looking to tone your legs like never before you chose the right college! I never took an official campus tour, but as soon as I stepped foot on campus I knew I would love it. Duquesne has officially become my home away from home (ask my parents how long it's been since they've seen me ha). I'm from a small town of only 2,000 people in central PA called Brockway, where we are well known for our one stop light in town! If I'm not running around planning stuff for Orientation, you will either see me with a soccer ball at my feet, drawing, or stressing about my next Chemistry Exam/Lab Report! Get ready to Bog, I can't wait to meet you all!
