Duquesne University Tamburitzans Alumni Association
The Duquesne University Tamburitzans Alumni Association is comprised of former Tamburitzans and their spouses. The organization meets monthly and holds various fund-raising and social events throughout the year. Their annual "Communion Breakfast" is a spiritual homecoming event held each September on the Duquesne University campus to welcome incoming freshmen and their families, and to acquaint the current ensemble with their proud "Tammie" alumni. The Alumni Association also sponsors a local Tamburitzans performance annually in the Pittsburgh area each fall.
Through the help and support of these and other volunteers, the Tamburitzans has been able to maintain its identity as a driving force in the folk arts arena. If you would like to volunteer your time or expertise in any capacity, we would like to hear from you.
