Established by family, students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends in honor of Msgr. Paul M. Lackner, this fund is awarded to a theology student.

Joel P. Laughlin Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Created by the Phi Delta Chi Pharmacy Fraternity Alumni Chapter, in memory of Joel P. Laughlin, this scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit to Phi Delta Chi Fraternity members enrolled in the professional phase in the Mylan School of Pharmacy.

Established by many generous donors in honor of Rev. Joseph A. Lauritis, C.S.Sp., founder of the Department of Journalism and WDUQ, this fund benefits incoming freshmen students who are planning to major in journalism, public relations and/or advertising, who are U.S. citizens and also meet the need and merit requirements.

Ronald LaVelle Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Created by the estate of Elizabeth LaVelle in memory of her husband, an accomplished trumpeter, artist and expert in his field, this fund is awarded to students enrolled in the Mary Pappert School of Music who meet the need and merit requirements. Preference is given for students studying the trumpet, then to students playing other wind instruments.
