Donor-Funded Non-Scholarship Endowments
Non-scholarship endowed funds enhance the quality of a Duquesne education in many ways. These funds range from endowed chairs and programs to resource funds assisting students with educational expenses other than tuition. Click on the listings below for descriptions of these funds.
Irma A. Jones Endowed Student Resource Fund
Created by Richard G. Morris in memory of his wife, this fund is awarded to a student enrolled in the Criminal Justice concentration of the Sociology program who meets the need requirements to defray ancillary educational expenses. Administrator: Dean, McAnulty College of Liberal Arts.
Jurczak/Antolini Endowed Sociology Fund

Louis V. Kasperik Endowed Fund for Duquesne Athletic Fund

Kerrish Faculty Resource Endowed Fund for Leadership in Entrepreneurial Education
Created by Donald Kerrish, this fund promotes the integration of entrepreneurship education across the curriculum. This includes support in the areas of faculty professional development, curriculum development, student workshops, etc. Administrator: Dean of the School of Pharmacy.
Ketchum Endowed Fund for Public Communication
Created by Ketchum Incorporated, this fund is intended to assist faculty scholarship in public communications. Administrator: Dean of the McAnulty College of Liberal Arts.
Kleyle Family Endowment Fund
Created by many generous donors, this fund benefits the Gumberg Library in the purchase of books for the University Library Resource and Learning Center. Administrator: University Librarian.
Dr. Albert C. Labriola Memorial Library Fund
Created by Timothy P. Enright and Victoria M.H. Nimick-Enright and other generous donors, this fund is intended to be used for the purchase of literature books in the Gumberg Library. Administrator: University Librarian.
Sergeant Ryan Lane Memorial Resource Fund
Created by many generous donors in memory of Sergeant Ryan Lane, this fund is to be awarded to a student who is a veteran of the U.S. Military and enrolled in any school at Duquesne University. Administrator: Director, Office of Military and Veteran Students.
Law Alumni Association Endowed Bar Preparation Fund
Created by the Law Alumni Association, this fund supports an adjunct faculty position to assist students with their bar preparation courses and materials. Administrator: Dean of the School of Law.
Law Alumni Association Endowed Career Services Fund
Created by the Law Alumni Association, this fund supports the Law School's Career Services Office in programming and events for students and alumni. Administrator: Dean of the School of Law.
Robert Loughney Faculty Development Endowment
Established by the Estate of Robert Loughney, this fund benefits the faculty in developing knowledge and skills required to take advantage of new technology in order to enhance their teaching and research methods. Administrator: Provost.
