  • In August 2011, 8 Duquesne students traveled to San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic to run a week-long day camp for children, partnering with teens from the local Spiritan parish youth group. They focused on structured activities such as crafts, music, stories and outdoor sports.
  • Bishop David Zubik (BA’71), Ordinary of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, chats with Marie Milie Jones, Chairperson of the Board of Directors and Linda Drago, Vice President for Legal Affairs, at the annual university convocation in September.
  • Deans Alan Miciak and David Seybert greet Masaai children in Tanzania following the Mass of Pentecost Sunday, in May 2010. The deans learned how the Spiritans are aiding health care and education in East Africa.
