Published in the Journal of Research in Music Education, Update: Applications of Research in Music Education, American String Teacher, The Instrumentalist, The International Trumpet Guild Journal, Pennsylvania Educational Leadership and Oregon Music Educator. Active clinician, presenting at national, regional and state conferences in the area of K-12 music curriculum design and in the field of instrumental music education. Former appointments include the University of Oregon, Ball State University and the Ohio State University. Directed middle school, junior high, high school and adult community bands in Oregon and Washington. Currently serving on the State Board of the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association.
