    ‘Budapest on the Bluff’ Series Concludes with ‘Hungarian Harmonies’

    The Mary Pappert School of Music's Budapest on the Bluff series at Duquesne University will conclude with the performance Hungarian Harmonies. The finale in the five-concert series will highlight works by composers Franz Schubert, Zoltan Kodály and Johannes Brahms.

    Performers include Adjunct Professor of Viola/Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) artists Marylene Gingras-Roy; international concert artist Cynthia Raim; former PSO concertmaster Andrés Cárdenes; PSO Principal Cellist Anne Martindale Williams; and David Allen Wehr, the Jack W. Geltz Distinguished Piano Chair and artistic director of the concert series.

    The concert will be preceded by a special performance by School of Music Adjunct Professor Rebecca Rollett featuring Hungarian harpsichord music.
