‘Beethoven on the Bluff’ Series Presents ‘Violin/Cello III’

The Mary Pappert School of Music will present Concert VII: Violin/Cello III, the third installment of the Beethoven on the Bluff Season Two: The Late Years concert series.

Season Two: The Late Years focuses on works composed by Ludwig van Beethoven during the last decade of his life. Violin/Cello III will feature Sonatas for Violin and Piano #1-3, op. 12 and Sonatas for Cello and Piano #4 and 5, op. 102.

The five sonatas will be performed by David Allen Wehr, Jack W. Geltz Distinguished Piano Chair at Duquesne and artistic director of the Beethoven series; Noah Bendix-Balgley, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster; Anne Martindale Williams, PSO Principal Cellist.

When:   Sunday, Jan. 11, at 3 p.m. 

Where:   PNC Recital Hall, Mary Pappert School of Music, Duquesne University, 600 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh.
