Free Lab Workshop Offers Students the Thrill of the Hunt
The Citizen Science Lab, which offers students the chance for hands-on learning, will combine the thrill of the hunt with the thrill of discovery, giving young scientists a microscopic experience with predator and prey.
To celebrate a recent donation to the lab from Block Medical, the lab continues the spirit of giving by offering this workshop for free. Weekend workshops at the public lab, which was established by Duquesne University and Urban Innovation21, are designed for students in grades 3-12.
When: Saturday, March 14, from 1-3:30 p.m.
