Freshman Class of 2009 Invades Campus for Annual Orientation/Move-In
Duquesne University's freshman class of 2009 is moving into residence halls this week: Tuesday, August 16, 5 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 17, 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Freshman orientation also begins this week with five days of programs and activities for freshman, including a matriculation ceremony, a semi-formal dance, educational presentations and an opportunity to volunteer for a morning in a local neighborhood. Special events will also be held just for parents, such as receptions, lectures on transitioning a child to college and trolley tours of the city.
