Italian Classic Film Festival to Be Held at Duquesne University

The Honorary Consulate of Italy/Pittsburgh, in collaboration with the 43rd Western Pennsylvania Symposium on World Literatures and Duquesne University's Modern European Union Club, will host the first in a series of films for the Italian Classic Film Festival.

The first film, La Tregua (The Truce), tells the true story of Italian Jews returning home from Auschwitz during World War II.

The event is free, but donations and proceeds from raffle tickets will support earthquake relief efforts of the Italian Red Cross. The film is being shown in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

When: Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 6 p.m.

Where: Room 725, Fisher Hall, Duquesne University
