The Beard Institute Speakers Forum presents this panel discussion, which will address how Americans are still struggling financially despite the economic recession ending in June 2009. Panelists include James A. Szilagy, chief supply chain officer at UPMC; Malcolm E. Polley, executive vice president and managing director at S&T Wealth Management; and Dr. James Burnham, Distinguished Service Professor in Duquesne’s Donahue Graduate School of Business. Tom Nist, director of responsible financial management for the Beard Institute and the Donahue Chair in Investment Management at Duquesne, will moderate the panel.

As Incoterms 2010 go into effect in January 2011, this workshop will address how companies can comply with commercial and regulatory requirements.  Topics include the changes to the international terms of sale; how to implement sales and purchases to incorporate the new Incoterms 2010; and buyer’s and seller’s responsibilities and costs associated with each international term of sale, among others.
