Schubert on the Bluff Presents Concert III: World Premiere

Season one of Schubert on the Bluff continues with Concert III: World Premiere, featuring the composer's Dre Klavierstucke, D. 946 and Piano Trio No. 1 in B-Flat Major, D. 898. In addition, this concert is dedicated to the series' Season One guest composer, the late David Stock, whose Second Chamber Concerto (commissioned by the series) will make its world premiere. Human Trafficking: Investigation, Screening and Victim Services

This Forensic Friday session will address the increasingly concerning issue of human trafficking. Featured presenters include Judy Hale Reed, attorney and member of the Western Pennsylvania Anti-Trafficking Coalition; Dr. Elizabeth Miller, chief of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh; and Jessica Smolar, deputy chief of the Civil Rights, Exploitation and Corruption Section and the Project Safe Child coordinator for the office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania. This program offers three hours of substantive Continuing Legal Education credit, and will also offer nursing and social work continuing education credit. Presented by the Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law.

CLE: Recent Developments in Pa. Constitutional Law and the Current Crisis in State Government

This Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program, presented by Duquesne Law Professor Bruce Ledewitz, will examine where Pennsylvania law and government are right now. Topics include recent cases and controversies in state constitutional law as well as the constitutional and ethics issues stemming from the suspension of State Attorney General Kathleen Kane's license to practice law and related issues. The session offers two hours of substantive CLE credit and one hour of ethics CLE credit. Registration is required. Hosted by the Duquesne University School of Law.
