Lawmakers to View Duquesne Student’s New Lighting System in Aliquippa
A Duquesne University student, who also is a small-business owner, will demonstrate an LED lighting system in Aliquippa to local federal and state lawmakers.
Dean Petrella, a computer science student at Duquesne who owns P&S Inc., which builds LED lighting in Beaver County, installed a demonstration project in June near the Aliquippa City Building.
The new, energy-efficient lighting will be demonstrated to Sen. Elder Vogel, U.S. Rep. Jason Altmire and state Rep. Rob Matzie, as well as to members of the public.
When: Friday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m.
