Nearly 3,000 Expected at Duquesne’s Opening Mass of New Academic Year
The Mass of the Holy Spirit is the Largest Held Annually in Pittsburgh
Nearly 3,000 students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Duquesne University are expected to attend this year’s annual Mass of the Holy Spirit, which will mark the kick-off of Duquesne’s 2006-2007 academic year.
Concelebrated by several priests of Duquesne University’s founding Spiritan congregation, the Mass will welcome the class of 2010. The Mass of the Holy Spirit is the largest Mass held each year in Pittsburgh.
A box lunch will be held on Academic Walk immediately following Mass for those in attendance.

When: Sunday, Aug. 27, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
