Online Duquesne Programs Recognized for Quality, Affordability
AffordableCollegesOnline.org (ACO) has recognized Duquesne University as one of the top schools in Pennsylvania for the quality and affordability of its online programs.
This puts Duquesne in the top one-quarter of all Pennsylvania schools considered by ACO for providing a great learning experience with the convenience of an online environment.
"Offering students great online programs is only half the battle," Dan Schuessler, founder and CEO of AC Online. "The colleges on our list offer students quality, flexibility and affordability."
The ranking examined both quality and cost of fully accredited public and private schools in the U.S. that offered at least one degree program entirely online. Duquesne's academic online offerings span bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
ACO has already ranked Duquesne as one of the state's top 81 schools for having the best return on students' educational investment.
Founded in 1878, Duquesne is consistently ranked among the nation's top Catholic research universities for its award-winning faculty and tradition of academic excellence. The University is nationally ranked by U.S. News and World Report and the Princeton Review for its rich academic programs in nine schools of study for nearly 10,000 graduate and undergraduate students, and by the Washington Monthly for service and contributing to students' social mobility. Duquesne is a member of the U.S. President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction for its contributions to Pittsburgh and communities around the globe. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Princeton Review's Guide to Green Colleges acknowledge Duquesne's commitment to sustainability.
