Red Masquers Close Season with ‘Album’
The award-winning Duquesne University Red Masquers theater troupe will present David Rimmer's coming of age comedy, Album, as its final mainstage production this semester.
Performances are scheduled Thursday, April 16, through Saturday, April 18, and Thursday, April 23, through Saturday, April 25, at 8 p.m. in the Peter Mills Auditorium, Rockwell Hall, on the Duquesne campus.
Rimmer's play follows the lives of two teenaged couples during the wild '60s. From summer camp to senior prom, the play depicts the perils and triumphs of the foursome as they enter adulthood. Popular music-Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Beach Boys-acts as a nostalgic anchor for the audience.
