Richard C. Esposito Named Director of Financial Aid
Richard C. Esposito has been named director of financial aid at Duquesne University. In his new post, his responsibilities include the equitable distribution of financial aid funds, ensuring compliance with federal, state and institutional policies and regulations, and monitoring the institutional financial aid budget.
In addition, he will play an active role in helping the University achieve its enrollment and retention objectives.
Esposito first joined the University's Financial Aid office in January 1994 as its assistant director. He most recently served as interim director of financial aid. Prior to his work at Duquesne, he served as the director of financial aid at Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.
A 1977 graduate of Duquesne University, Esposito holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with concentrations in finance and marketing. He is a member of various professional organizations, including the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.
Esposito resides in Scott Township with his wife Lynn and their children Joe, 20, Shelley, 18 and Dan, 13.
