Student Attends U.S. Olympic Committee Program
Niccolas Barton, a junior in the School of Business at Duquesne University, was selected to participate in the U.S. Olympic Committee program called Finding Leaders Among Minorities Everywhere (FLAME).
A total of 30 minority student leaders from colleges and universities across the country are participating in the event at the U.S. Olympic Training Center from Aug 1- 4 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
FLAME aims to mentor students to apply Olympic-oriented ideals of persistence, commitment, vision, focus and determination. The program also helps students become further involved in the Olympic movement through USOC scholarships, volunteer and career opportunities.
