The Pennies From Heaven Challenge
|
Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University School of Nursing have had the honor of an educational partnership over many years. Their recent endeavor is the Pennies From Heaven project (givetochildrens.org) started in June. This project is managed through the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Funds collected are used to ease financial hardships for parents and families. Funds have been used for transportation, food, and sibling care. The School of Nursing has decided to involve other schools and departments across the Duquesne University campus. The next stop for the Pennies From Heaven jug is with the School of Occupational Therapy, student association (SOTA). |
