  • The formal Matriculation Ceremony, a University Tradition, invites Duquesne University faculty and staff and friends and families to the A.J. Palumbo center for the freshman class official welcome into the Duquesne Family.
  • Rev. Sean Hogan, C.S.Sp, Executive Vice President for Student Life, greets students and families during the annual freshman move-in day. Duquesne University is one of the few institutions who put an army of 200+ upper-class students at your disposal to help out with move-in efforts.
  • Rev. Jim McCloskey, C.S.Sp, Executive Vice President for Mission and Identity, stops to converse with a parent during freshman move-in. The Duquesne Mission Statement is something each student and parent becomes well aquainted with during orientation activities.
