Handicap Parking

A Duquesne University Handicap Permit is required to park at any designated handicap space. To to purchase a handicap permit you must first have a state-issued handicap permit. Bring your state-issued handicap permit to the Duquesne University Parking Office, located at the entrance of the Locust Garage, and we will issue you a university handicap permit.

The Duquesne University handicap permit MUST BE DISPLAYED AT ALL TIMES when parked in a designated space.

Temporary Permits

If a medical situation occurs that requires the need for temporary parking in a designated handicap space, bring documentation from a physician, stating the length of time needed for the handicap permit, to the Parking Office and you may purchase a temporary handicap permit for the authorized amount of time. The permit must be visible at all times when parked in the designated area.

Designated Spaces

There are designated handicap parking spaces located throughout the Duquesne University campus, as well as spaces located near the elevators on each floor in both the Forbes and Locust Garages.
