Opportunities to learn more about the health professions

The PMPP sets out to broaden the horizons of all students by educating them in their field of choice and its educational demands. This is accomplished through a number of venues such as guest lecturers, visits from school admissions personnel, and discussions held by former pre-medical students. The program also provides assistance on preparation for the required standard admission tests and the application process for the various schools.

The following organizations provide further information on a particular health profession and/or schools that offer training in that profession. If interested in a health profession, these associations welcome students to inquire about their health profession and generally will offer to send you detailed information on the profession and/or schools.
