Restorative Yoga, September 30, 6:30 - 8:30 PM |
Restorative Yoga has been called "active relaxation." This workshop will combine a series of relaxing postures with breathwork, useful for combating stress, fatigue, and insomnia. Other relaxation tips and tricks will be demonstrated and discussed. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Each student will receive their very own relaxing lavender and flaxseed eye pillow as part of the workshop fee.

| Meditation and Breathwork, October 7, 6:30 - 8 PM |
Meditation is a way to access your inner self by quieting your busy mind and focusing your awareness on the present moment. Meditation can lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, reduce anxiety and stress, and increase recognition of compulsive behavior patterns. In this workshop, we will explore meditation and breathwork (pranayama) techniques for stress management and improved wellness. No prior yoga/meditation experience is necessary.

| Yoga for Headaches, October 21, 6:30 - 8 PM |
This workshop will offer yogic techniques to manage and minimize the impact of headaches, from sinus headaches to tension headaches and migraines. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Each student will receive their very own headwrap as part of the workshop fee.

| Aromatherpay, October 28, 6:30 - 8 PM |
Aromatherapy is the art and science of using pure essential oils from plants to relax, balance, and rejuvenate the body, mind, and spirit. Students will learn how aromatherapy works, as well as aromatherapy recipes to improve their health and wellness. Each student will design and create one of their own small aromatherapy body product- massage oil, body splash, shower gel, or exfoliating scrub-to take home. |

| Food & Fitness: Jump Start Your Exercise Metabolism, November 19, 6:30 - 7:45 PM |
Having trouble trying to plan a healthy diet and determine proper caloric intake, while starting an exercise program? It can be overwhelming and difficult, especially with the plethora of information available via the internet! Don’t become discouraged! Attend Barb Benedict’s presentation on how to “JUMP START YOUR EXERCISE METABOLISM”, and receive valuable information regarding nutrition and its relationship to exercise!

| Expand the knowledge you learned in Eat Well for Life I with this additional six (6)-week program. A registered dietician will dicuss in further detail reading nutrition labels, factoring exercise into your diet, and provide practical knowledge for grocery store shopping and eating out. Eat Well for Life I is a pre-requisite for this class. |
